WHO ARE WE ?

The Vault is New Zealand's iconic design store for unique gifts, contemporary jewellery and quirky home wares. Since 1991 we have been bringing you the best from New Zealand's dynamic creative community and small artisan manufacturers but we also love to find great international design products to add into the mix. We have a stunning boutique store in Wellington with friendly staff who are ready to answer your questions and send out your order.

Most of our products (71%) are made in New Zealand but we also offer a select range of designer imported products such as wallets, clocks, pens from around the world.

Here in our online store you will find examples of the best of what we stock in our dynamic retail space. ceramics, glass, lamps, sculpture and wall art from our local artisans and artists. Many of our artists are inspired by the beauty of our country and its native flora, fauna and our tikanga Maori.

If you normally have trouble finding a men's gift... we cater for all types - from blokes in sheds to urbane style kings.

Over the years we have grown quite a stable of local jewellers and have a reputation as a fantastic jewellery destination. We stock some of the bigger names in NZ jewellery such as Boh Runga, Pam Kerr and Jill Main but also many artisan jewellers and craftspeople who still make everything by hand. We think everyone should be able to afford objects of beauty and substance so you can find a gift to suit all budgets.
