This pendant by NZ jeweller Tania Tupu features a Maori Tane (man) with traditional hair and feather adornment and a Wahine (woman) as an additional mini pendant. It is made from resin. The silver snake chain is 60cm long.
ABOUT THE ARTIST : Tania Tupu was an NZ rep basket player for many years. Once she retired from playing high level basketball she learnt the craft of jewellery making and ever since has been making her own unique style of NZ and Maori inspired jewellery.
