I’m Cari (Caroline) Quinn and I’m the muddy hands behind Lava Ceramics. As long as I can remember I’ve been happiest while I’m being creative. It took me until my 40’s to discover clay. Once I did, there was no going back. It began when I started sculpting my own rescue dog, then our rabbit, then I started on the dogs in the neighbourhood. My main inspiration is from nature and living creatures. In particular, their cheeky characters.
