Largely ignored by my college art teacher and with no formal training in the arts, my art journey has been a series of accidental discoveries and fortuitous meetings with talented individuals. My mother began the journey by giving me a passion for writing, then in the eighties a friend introduced me to lead lighting and in the nineties another friend showed me how to carve.
In 1992 I became a full time artist and my artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally over the years.
