We use a secure online payment service via DPS to process your website orders securely. At checkout when completing your web purchase your credit card will be authorized in real time using SSL protocols, the Holy Grail of secure online shopping. This means your transaction is encrypted, secure and safe. We do not collect or have access to any of your credit card information when purchasing through our website. By using these services we aim to ensure our customers have a safe shopping experience.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
Alternatively you can also choose to pay by Internet banking (note this takes a day to clear), or by Pay pal.
We also offer customers the option to Lay-by items and are a Laybuy Merchant.

You can choose to collect your online purchase from our physical store location at 2 Plimmer Steps, Wellington CBD. When your order has been processed our team will email you so you'll know it's ready for your collection. If you have any further information for us, please type this in the comments field through checkout.
Due to ALERT LEVEL 3 RESTRICTIONS all pick ups must be contactless. Please select click and collect through checkout. When your order has been processed we’ll email you to let you know it's ready for contactless pick up. The pick up time is 11am to 2pm Monday to Saturday. Please have your order confirmation ready to show staff at the collection point. The collection point is located at the top of the internal stairs at the glass door. E-GIFT VOUCHER (EMAIL IT)
The Vault e-gift voucher can only be purchased online at www.thevaultnz.com and are redeemable for merchandise sold through The Vault online store and physical store.
By using or purchasing an e-gift voucher, you agree to these terms.
The purchaser can email the e-gift voucher to the recipient’s email address and nominate the date it will be sent. The nominated date must be no later than one month after the date on which the e-gift voucher is purchased by the purchaser.
An e-gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are redeemable through the online store and physical store.
Once the nominated email address and date has been set, this cannot be changed.
An e-gift voucher can be loaded with $25, $50, $75, $100, $150 or $200 denominations.
The minimum Vault e-gift voucher value is $20.00
An e-gift voucher may not be redeemed for cash.

A physical gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are redeemable through our physical store and online store.
$10, $20, $50 and $100 instore gift vouchers are available, just choose what quantity of each voucher you would like, as you can make up most denominations.
The minimum Vault physical gift voucher value is $10.00

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY
If you’re unhappy with a product please let us know, we will do our best to help and resolve any issues.
If the product is faulty we’re very happy to replace it, give you a refund or offer a gift card so you can choose something else to the same value. Consumer law in New Zealand does not require retailers to refund goods if customers change their minds however we always do our best to find a solution that everyone is happy with.
To be eligible for a return/exchange your item must be returned unused and in it’s original packaging, accompanied with the proof of purchase or an exchange card. You have two weeks from the date of purchase to exchange your purchase.
If you live outside of Wellington please email The Vault team on firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know if you would like to return a product and why it is being returned, we can then start the process from there.
Damaged merchandise will not be accepted for an exchange, return or refund. Cancelled orders may incur third party transaction fees.
We offer complimentary gift wrapping. At checkout you can specify if you would like your purchase wrapped, then choose from one of our fabulous gift wrapping options.
