Launched from a garage in Newton, Auckland (Aotearoa New Zealand) in 2008. Renowned glass artist Luke Jacomb creates a range of affordable, handcrafted cast and blown glass art and homeware. Today Luke, his partner Tara, and their small team of artists work from two private Auckland studios, handcrafting each piece from start to finish.
Using the lost wax casting method, the studio's unique birds, bees, butterflies, and flowers are individually hand-tooled and finished, a process that can take up to 145 hours per piece. When mounted on a wall, these glass objects display the magical properties of light, creating enchanting silhouettes and shadows that add color and movement to any space.
