Hailing from Southland, New Zealand, I am a Kāi Tahu creative dedicated to facilitating knowledge through interdisciplinary design. My goal is to create resources that educate, empower, and entertain.
Growing up, creativity was a constant, thanks to my parents. My father, Peter Johnson, first introduced me to clay as a toddler. After years spent pursuing a "real job," I rediscovered pottery in my thirties. Now, working with this medium, I happily lose track of time, finding immense joy in crafting both sculptural and functional pieces, my way of "sneaking art into everyday life."
