This exquisite hand-blown glass sculpture by New Zealand artist Anthony Genet (Flamedaisy) beautifully captures the form of the native kina (sea urchin). Found in shallow, rocky coastal waters, the kina is a traditional Māori delicacy best known for its spiky, hedgehog-like appearance. At the end of its lifecycle, the spines shed to reveal a striking, green, globe like shell beneath. Anthony has masterfully frozen this delicate, naturally occurring treasure into timeless glass artistry.
