These scarves are light and luxurious feeling due to the fine merino yarn. The colours are lively and would add a delightful detail to an outfit. Woven by Tasman textile artist Jane Clark NZ.

Jane have chosen this beautiful fine merino wool because of its softness and lovely feel against the skin. Due to the fineness and quality of the yarn the scarves are elegant and drape beautifully.

There are four dyed colours bright green, purple, turquoise and charcoal grey in the warp. They have been placed in random stripes and I have matched the pattern to the stripes. There are three scarves in this series. Each scarf has a different block pattern.

The weave pattern is called twill which adds to the overall drape and feel of the scarf.

The scarves approximately measure 65 by 9 inches (165 by 23cm).These measurements exclude the fringe. The fringe is approximately 4 inch (10cm) long. The scarf has been hand stitched at either end which gives another feature to help complete the handmade look.

To take care of your scarf you will need to gently hand wash in warm water, separately from other items. Lie flat in the shade to dry. Iron the scarf while it is still damp.
