'Aroha Tiki' part of a series exploring New Zealand's endemic flora and fauna using ink. I studied anthropology at university and this sparked a strong interest in getting to know about indigenous cultures and specifically learning more about NZ's Maori culture. I love how indigenous culture is all about taking care of the natural environment. I wanted to create a beautiful piece of art which captured this relationship.
