Rectangle ceramic platter with kauri leaves embossed to one side. This platter celebrates Kauri, New Zealand's mightiest but endangered tree. Kauri (Agathis australis) is the most famous of New Zealand native trees and one of the largest trees found anywhere in the world.  Tane Mahuta (Lord of the forest), the famous Kauri tree in Waipoua Forest, measures 45.8m high with a girth of 15.44m and is over 2100 years old!
