A beautiful hand carved piece of pounamu in the shape of a koru and lashed with braided cord for wearing . 

The Koru design is inspired by one of New Zealand’s most sacred symbols of nature, the silver fern. The fern begins life in a spiral shape before it fully matures. Much like the young fern, the koru design represents nature, new life or new beginnings.

This authentic Ngāi Tahu Pounamu comes with a unique traceability code. When entered online this code identifies the origin and whakapapa of the stone. It will describe how it was extracted and processed and tell you who the artist was that carved it.
