The Roimata is a traditional Māori pounamu (greenstone) carving shaped like a teardrop, symbolizing healing, emotional strength, comfort, and connection to the land (whenua). Known as a "drop" or "tear," it serves as a powerful, calming taonga (treasure) often given to provide solace or mark a new journey.
