This beautiful wooden bowl has been handcrafted by New Zealand wood turner / carver Gavin Brunton. It’s made from locally sourced light coloured pohutukawa wood which has a touch of darker spalting to the wood, and has some natural characteristics which have been left as part of the design.

All the wood Gavin uses comes from trees which have been damaged in storms or are being pruned for other reasons.
