‘Parade Dairy’ is a small Kiwi Business which is situated 135 The Parade, Island Bay. 

When the tramway opened in June 1904. It reached Medway Street by November 1905 and then Island Bay. With many new houses being built in Derwent Street and Clyde Street (one block either side of The Parade) J. Odlin and Co. began establishing commercial buildings in the area. The pair quickly built five shops along the increasingly popular street between 1905 & 1907 (151 129, 131, 135, 139a The Parade)

The use of these buildings were typical of the time, with 135 first being used as a drapery store by Mr Harold Hanson.  

The original Artwork was created using watercolour, ink and acrylic on 300 gsm Arches, cold pressed watercolour paper.
