This lovely serving bowl has been handcrafted by New Zealand wood turner / carver Gavin Brunton. It’s made from locally sourced pohutukawa wood and the beautiful natural characteristics of the wood have been left as part of the design. A turquoise coloured resin has been used to fill in the natural indentations and holes in the wood.

All the wood Gavin uses comes from trees which have been damaged in storms or are being pruned for other reasons.
