This lovely bowl has been handcrafted by New Zealand wood turner / carver Gavin Brunton. It’s  made from locally sourced pohutukawa wood and the beautiful natural characteristics of the wood have been left as part of the design. This bowl design also has three wooden feet which have been carved out of the same piece of wood. 

All the wood Gavin uses comes from trees which have been damaged in storms or are being pruned for other reasons.
