This exquisite necklace is a tribute to the enduring spirit of the awa (river/stream), hand-created by local silversmith Gina Goad of Heylo. In Māori culture, awa is more than just a waterway; it is a vital representation of the landscape, intrinsically linked to whakapapa (ancestry) and identity.

Gina’s work is piled high with personality as well as drawing on Kāpiti’s coastal vibe and Aotearoa’s amazing wildlife. Each piece is hand-crafted and uniquely Heylo.
