This Wahine oval ceramic dish has been handcrafted by Borrowed Earth. Each dish has been hand painted, then a sgraffito technique is used to create the pattern. The dish is then bisque fired and when the temperature has cooled, it’s then taken out of the kiln and a transparent glossy glaze goes over the top. It’s then fired again to around 1200 degrees.
