Hand thrown by New Zealand artist Debbie Pointon, this exquisite porcelain bowl is adorned with delicate etched Manuka trees.

“My pieces are wheel-thrown using porcelain clay. Each one is thrown, turned, and hand-carved before being bisque fired. The final stage is a sagger firing with charcoal to 1300∘C. The final results are uniquely influenced by the piece’s position in the kiln and the specific firing technique I employ”.
