Hand thrown by New Zealand artist Debbie Pointon, this beautiful porcelain bowl captures a piece of nature. A finely cut-out shape of a Manuka tree forms an elegant silhouette, making it a truly unique piece of decorative art.

“My pieces are wheel-thrown using porcelain clay. Each one is thrown, turned, and hand-carved before being bisque fired. The final stage is a sagger firing with charcoal to 1300∘C. The final results are uniquely influenced by the piece’s position in the kiln and the specific firing technique I employ”.
