This beautiful, single twist (Pikorua) pendant by Dean Moreton is crafted from New Zealand Kawakawa Pounamu (NZ Greenstone).

The twist, or Pikorua, beautifully resembles two intertwined pikopiko ferns. This elegant form symbolizes the enduring paths of 'life and love' or 'friendship and eternity'. Representing infinite partnership, the Pikorua is a perfect gift for lovers, newlyweds, fiancés, or anyone wishing to emphasize their deep connection, love, loyalty, and friendship.

Characterised by its striking streaked or speckled white patterns, Kahotea Pounamu is a unique variety of NZ Greenstone. Its name, "Kahotea," fittingly stems from the Māori word "kaho," meaning "light-colored tea" (Te Wahi Pounamu). These distinct white inclusions create a vibrant contrast within the deep green, giving every piece a one-of-a-kind appearance.
