A sweet Ruru necklace cleverly cast in sterling silver from an original Tania Mallow carving, finished with a sterling silver chain and clasp.

The Ruru (Morepork) is New Zealand’s beloved native owl. This shy little bird is mostly found in native forest but can occasionally be heard in urban areas at night. It's haunting melancholic call is what gives it its Maori name Ruru.
