These stunning hoop earrings have been handcrafted by Duncan MacKay. The making process involves hand cutting copper with a fret saw to create a circle, followed by sanding. Then a silver plate is then shaped and hammered into a narrow circle to sit on top of the copper backing. Small rivets are used to connect the two pieces together, then hung on sterling silver hooks.
