This ceramic Tūī mug features a hand-painted underglaze design carved into the clay in a block-print style, and is paired with a lovely green glaze. The Tūī is left unglazed, creating a tactile, contrasting texture to hold. Handcrafted by Andi Hoffmann.

When Andi first moved to Aotearoa New Zealand, the call of the tui, welcoming the dawn each morning in the tree outside the window, became a deep inspiration, sparking a desire to incorporate this stunning bird into ceramic art.
