Kawakawa is a pretty coastal shrub with heart shaped long stemmed green leaves and an edible fruit with a distinctive tropical taste and contrasting peppery seeds. The heart shaped leaves remind us of the preciousness of ourselves, the land and our native ecosystems.

Each leaf is hand cut from pure silver plate, shaped with files, sanded, soldered and patterned with a scribe. The hand formed leaf-shaped hooks emphasise the classic shape.
