Look naturally stylish with this striking new Kōwhai Pod Earrings! These unique earrings are created with recycled sterling silver and cast from an actual kōwhai seed pod, which has been slightly scaled down so it's light to wear. 

The kōwhai seed pod is a very distinctive shape, that forms after the tree has flowered and contains a number of bright yellow seeds of the kōwhai. The seeds readily germinate and young kōwhai seedlings are common around the garden where a tree is present. Native birds such as the tui, bellbird, kākā and New Zealand wood pigeon/kererū all benefit from kōwhai trees.
