Earring design based on the distinctive native New Zealand Kereru (wood pigeon).  Solid recycled Copper with double sided design and finished with recycled Sterling Silver hooks. The Kereru is a clumsy flier but has lovely colourful plumage and it is easy to get up close for a good look.  The scourge of fruit orchards where they love to snack on the fresh blossoms of the trees in spring.  They are an important seed disperser for native trees.
